Robot Suit! (It's the Real-Life Gundam/Ironman)

Japan is without a doubt the leader of robotics and in keeping this tradition, the country becomes the first country to begin mass-producing a robot suit that will help human beings become more mobile. Meet Robot Suit HAL (Hybrid Assistive Limb...

Robot Suit HAL is worn over the arms and legs. Through the use of eight electric motors attached to shoulders, elbows, knees and the waist, this device greatly assists body movement. Super geeky right?

Prof. Sankai, University of Tsukuba / CYBERDYNE Inc.

The magical thing about this thingie is that a person can control Robot Suit HAL not by muscles but by his or her own will, even if the wearer is unable to actually move! Amazing right? The suit detects the signal sent from the brain even before it gets to the muscle, it can move an instant before the muscle does.

Produced by Cyberdyne Inc, the company expects to make the robot suit available for rental through specific sales outlets in the very near future. Major geeks are gonna have mini orgasms for sure!
