Next Wave media made buzz as they reported their news animated! It's animated news about Tiger Woods garnered huge hits on their website.

Only distantly related to the Great Panda, Red Pandas share a close lineage with both the raccoon and bear family. Although the unarguably adorable animal has been protected by law, its numbers continue to decrease due to deforestation and poaching.

Snow Leopards can be found in the mountain ranges of Central Asia, where they roam anywhere from 9,800 to 18,000 feet above sea level. Though the this snowy cat has been listed as “endangered” since 1972, there are still less than 6,500—at a generous estimate—found in the wild. Incidentally, they are unable to roar.

The itty-bitty Egyptian Tortoise is one of the world's smallest and most endangered animals. The largest of which measure 5 inches, Egyptian Tortoises are getting harder and harder to see; their population has been decimated due to habitat loss and their popularity as pets.

Tree Kangaroos make their home in the rainforests of New Guinea as well as Australia and the islands near the northeast of Queensland. More or less marsupials that have adapted to living in trees, they're generally grow no larger than the length of their 34 inch tails. Unfortunately for these cuddly-looking climbers, their numbers are threatened due to hunting and habitat loss.

This cartoony-looking critter is the Axolotl Salamander, also known as the Mexican Walking Fish. Critically endangered due to overfishing, pollution, and urbanization, among other things, the population of this amphibian has dwindled from 1500 per square mile in 1998 to 25 per square mile in 2008 in the waters of central Mexico that it calls home.

Japan’s KAGUYA explorer has been shooting HD footages of the surface of the moon. The Japan Aerospace Exploration Agency (JAXA), along with public broadcaster NHK, has uploaded two videos on YouTube.

This video was shot from an altitude of about 11 kilometers (7 miles) up, at between 45 and 52 degrees south latitude and 262 and 263 degrees east longitude.

This one, which offers a view of the Antoniadi lunar crater, was shot from an altitude of about 21 kilometers (13 miles) up, at between 64 and 70 degrees south latitude and 186 and 188 degrees east longitude.

Folksy singer Kris Allen is the new "American Idol," turning judges' favorite Adam Lambert into an also-ran.

Host Ryan Seacrest said on Wednesday's finale that nearly 100 million votes were cast for the finalists. The 23-year-old Allen, a student from Conway, Ark., bested the 27-year-old Lambert, a theater actor from San Diego.

The two-hour finale included performances by the Black Eyed Peas, Cyndi Lauper, Carlos Santana and Rod Stewart. Lambert performed with Kiss and Allen dueted with Keith Urban.

Before the announcement, the two finalists dueted on "We are the Champions" with the surviving members of Queen.

Allen gets a record contract along with his "American Idol" title.

In 2004, Kyohei Sakaguchi published "Zero Yen House" - a book of homeless housing in Tokyo, Osaka and Nagoya. The publication provides a look on the different constructions and materials used by homeless people in Japan. It shows the efficiency and resourcefulness and of course it shows the homeless in there are much better than the homeless peeps in other countries!

In 2000, architect Kyohei Sakaguchi came across this homeless camp along a riverside in Tokyo. The homeless man who was living in it used to work for a camera company and knew his electronics, so he outfitted his house with a solar panel that let him watch TV and listen to the radio. Zero Yen House for you!

The Interior is made from wood. The roof is made from the cardboard. He covered it with a big blue vinyl sheet. He stocks under the floor. This house isn’t connected with the road. He just put it on the road. He said to me that this could float on the water once. This house is also a ship!!!
